Introduction
Although high-pressure medical oxygen filling systems are not fully compatible with the principle of on-site oxygen production, in some situations it may be worthwhile to fill oxygen cylinders to serve as an ultimate backup source for the hospital.
Indeed, on-site oxygen production is designed to safely produce low-pressure oxygen and directly supply the hospital's medical fluid network. The benefit is to avoid handling high-pressure oxygen cylinders. However, it is mandatory for a hospital to have three oxygen supply sources. It is therefore possible to consider high-pressure filling systems in order to fill fixed oxygen cylinders as a second or third oxygen source for the hospital.
GAZ SYSTEMES has a range of reliable pneumatic oxygen boosters, powered by the same compressor as the PSA oxygen plant. Pneumatic technology allows a low speed with less maintenance and a long service life.
Features & options
Safety: equipped with non-return valves and safety valves.
Internal pipework: all stainless steel, degreased for oxygen service.
Pneumatic technology: fewer than 100 cycles per minute (10 times less than for an electric booster).
Supervision unit (option):
- Possibility of remotely monitoring and operating the booster
- Automatic start and stop according to the outlet pressure (chosen by the user)
- 7,5″ touchscreen
