AVSU-COFFRETS-DE-VANNES · VALVE
Introduction
AVSUs and valve boxes are required on a medical fluid network in accordance with most international standards. Their purpose is to allow user access in the event of an emergency. They are always equipped with a shut-off valve to isolate several departments or an entire building in case of emergency or maintenance.
Alarm boxes are most often located close to the AVSU: it is therefore possible to include pressure monitoring devices in the AVSU, such as pressure switches, pressure sensors or gauges.
